Abstract: A display apparatus includes a receiver, an image processor, a display and a controller. The receiver receives an image of content in the form image segments. The image processor processes the image of content received via the receiver. The display displays the processed image of content. The controller controls the image processor to display an image corresponding to one viewpoint of the image of content, and display information about a display quality of at least one image segment based on reception states of the image segments. With this, the display apparatus may provide the information about display quality for the at least one segment of the image of content, thereby allowing a user to watch the image of content while smoothly moving a viewpoint.

Abstract: A Blu-ray disc player includes: a mounter; a buffer configured to load a Blu-ray disc; a controller configured to load a file recorded on the Blu-ray disc in the buffer if the Blu-ray disc is mounted on the mounter, and configured to load subtitle data and video data, wherein the subtitle data and the video data are separated into a plurality of fields and recorded in the file on the Blu-ray disc; a filter configured to detect the video data and the subtitle data from the file loaded in the buffer; a video processor configured to decode the video data and create one or more video frames; a data processor configured to decode the subtitle data and create one or more subtitles; a mixer configured to add the one or more subtitles to the video frames; and a display configured to display the one or more video frames to which the one or more subtitles have been added.

Abstract: The video playback apparatus includes: a video data processor for simultaneously and asynchronously reproducing a main-video stream and a sub-video stream, and controlling position- and size-information of a corresponding display window; and a video output controller, if one of the main- and sub-video streams reproduced by the video data processor is completely reproduced earlier than the other one, which controls the video data processor to enlarge a display window of the remaining video stream to an entire screen size.
