    Abstract: The present invention relates to an energy saving outlet, which comprises: a housing, having at least one first opening and a second opening thereon, for disposing the following elements at least one outlet, disposed in the housing and exposed the first opening, for providing an electrical equipment being plugged into; a sensor, disposed in the housing and exposed the second opening, for sensing a starting signal of the electrical equipment; a control unit, disposed in the housing and coupled to the sensor, for outputting a control signal when it receives the starting signal; a relay, one end being coupled to a power input terminal, and another end being coupled to the control unit, for being changed to an on or off state through the control signal; thereby the energy saving outlet can turn OFF its power when the electrical equipment has entered a stand-by state, so as to achieve the goal of energy saving. Furthermore, the present invention also provides an energy saving method by using an outlet.

    Abstract: A portable relay base is composed of an upper cover and a lower cover being oppositely joined to each other. The portable relay base at a lateral side thereof at least provides an outlet unit composed of two contact poles and/or one ground pole and at a proper position thereof provides an opening. The portable relay further comprises a power line carrier, a power line, and a circuit board. The power line carrier has a shape of disk and fits with the lower cover axially. An automatic positioning/wire collecting apparatus is provided in the power line carrier and a central hollow reel is provided at a top thereof with at least two concentric spacing rings in accordance with the number of poles of the power. The power line is a lead wire coiling around the reel as a bundle with an end thereof extending an electricity taking plug outside the opening and another end thereof having at least two conductive pieces.     Abstract: An electrical connector includes a faceplate and a cover plate. The faceplate is provided with at least receptacle having two slots. A rectangular recess is provided on the faceplate outside the slots. A tongue of a length corresponding to that of the slots is provided between the slots. Each slot is provided with a slide groove at an outer side thereof. The cover plate is received in the recess and has a length substantially equivalent to the distance from bottom edges of the slots to a bottom edge of the recess. The cover plate includes an indentation at an upper end shaped to receive the tongue, and two side wings each having a hook extending downwardly from outer edges thereof for engaging the slide grooves. When the cover plate is disposed in the recess of the faceplate, the side wings will contact the tongue. When the cover plate is in a use position, the slots are exposed on the faceplate to allow insertion of a plug.
