  • Publication number: 20260084700
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods for operating an articulated vehicle comprising a pulling vehicle and a trailer. The pulling vehicle comprises one or more sensors arranged to monitor an environment of the articulated vehicle. The method comprises detecting, in the monitored environment, an occluded region in a neighbouring driving lane, wherein the occluded region is occluded by the trailer from a field of view of the one or more sensors. The method further comprises controlling the articulated vehicle in its present driving lane in a view phase in which the pulling vehicle is steered towards the neighbouring lane to thereby momentarily removing the trailer from the field of view in the neighbouring lane of the one or more sensors. The disclosure also relates to a corresponding control arrangement and computer program, and to a vehicle comprising the control arrangement.

  • Patent number: 11056002
Abstract: Method and control unit, for avoiding a potential collision between the vehicle and a Vulnerable Road User, VRU. The method comprises: predicting a future path of the vehicle; detecting the VRU and the position of the VRU; determining velocity of the detected VRU; predicting a future position of the detected VRU, based on the VRU position upon detection and the determined VRU velocity; and performing an action for avoiding a collision, when the predicted future position of the VRU is overlapping the predicted future path of the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20180222475
Abstract: Method and control unit for predicting a path of a vehicle are provided. The method comprises measuring velocity of the vehicle; measuring steering wheel angle (?sw); measuring steering wheel angle rate (??sw); calculating a future steering wheel angle (?sw), based on the measured steering wheel angle (?sw) and the measured steering wheel angle rate (??sw); calculating a future yaw rate (?) of the vehicle based on the measured velocity of the vehicle and the calculated future steering wheel angle (?sw); extrapolating a vehicle position of the vehicle in a set of future time frames, based on the calculated future yaw rate (?) and the vehicle velocity; and predicting the path of the vehicle based on the extrapolated vehicle positions in the set of future time frames.

  • Patent number: 9327735
Abstract: A method for assessment of driver behavior during driving by continuously characterizing (S1) the driver's braking processes by determining (S2) the cause of a chosen braking process such as a camera view, map and location data, evasive maneuvers, ambient conditions, road conditions, and assessing (S3) whether the chosen braking process is the appropriate response. Also a system for assessment of driver behavior during driving, a motor vehicle with the system and a computer program for performing the process.

  • Patent number: 4593845
Abstract: A device for driving fasteners such as nails, screws etc., including a fastener receiver and guide for receiving fasteners in a position for co-action with a fastener-driver and for guiding the fasteners toward the intended fastener-driving location. A fastener magazine having a fastener guide channel for guiding fasteners is arranged in side-by-side relationship toward the fastener receiver and guide and a feeder is provided for feeding fasteners arriving from the magazine to the fastener receiver and guide. The feeder includes a bifurcate member arranged to co-act with the guide channel in the magazine. The bifurcate member has an elongate groove formed by tines or legs of the bifurcate member.
