  • Publication number: 20180028160
Abstract: An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus may include a main body; and at least one input/output unit coupled with the main body, and configured to receive information from a user or to output information received from the main body; and a connection unit configured to connect the main body to the input/output unit and the connection unit comprises a support member configured to support the input/output unit, and at least one connection member configured to adjust a magnitude of a supporting force generated by the support member. The connection member may generate a force in a direction in which the supporting force generated by the support member is cancelled out to thus adjust the magnitude of the supporting force.

  • Publication number: 20110066033
Abstract: A probe of an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus and a method of suppressing vibration thereof are disclosed. The probe includes a transducer moving along a preset locus; a drive unit driving the transducer, a detector sensing real-time vibration of the transducer during movement of the transducer, and a controller controlling operation of the drive unit depending on a sensed degree of vibration to suppress the real-time vibration of the transducer. Factors related to the drive unit and generating vibration of the transducer can be suppressed by changing a drive force transmitted to the transducer depending on a detected degree of real-time vibration of the transducer to suppress vibration of the transducer, thereby improving accuracy in ultrasonic diagnosis and providing a more accurate ultrasound image.

  • Publication number: 20100234734
Abstract: Provided is a probe for an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus. When an ultrasonic diagnosis is performed, a bubble removal member may collect bubbles within a liquid medium filled in the probe, and may discharge the collected bubbles to a region where a transfer of the ultrasonic waves is unobstructed. Specifically, since the bubbles within the liquid medium do not obstruct the transfer of the ultrasonic waves, it is possible to enhance a probe performance. Also, it is possible to effectively remove the bubbles existing between a cover and a transducer of the probe.

  • Publication number: 20080015444
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention may provide an ultrasonic probe, which is configured to drive an ultrasonic element and to remove bubbles remaining in liquid filled for propagation of ultrasonic waves. The ultrasonic probe of the present invention has a housing, a cover and a device for removing bubbles. The housing supports an ultrasonic element so that it can be reciprocated therein. The cover is joined to the housing to define an enclosed space, in which the ultrasonic element is reciprocated. The bubble-removing device has a tube, which is joined at one end to a portion of the housing opposed to the cover and is closed at the other end. A communication passage is formed at the one end of the tube. The communication passage has a shape of a funnel or a truncated cone, which becomes narrow as it goes toward the other end of the tube. The bubble-removing device removes the bubbles from the liquid filled in the enclosed space for propagation of ultrasonic waves and then accumulates the removed bubbles.
