  • Patent number: 9809915
Abstract: A washing machine for washing laundry may include a drum type washing machine having a tub, a drum, a water pressure and/or level sensor, an air flow path, a bubble detecting sensor, and a controller. The bubble detecting sensor may be along the air flow path of the tub in order to detect whether bubbles, suds or foam are generated within the tub and/or whether the bubbles, suds or foam exceed an acceptable amount. When the bubbles within the tub are detected and/or exceed the acceptable amount, the washing machine (e.g., the controller) may perform a preset or predetermined bubble removing course or procedure to remove or reduce the bubbles.

  • Publication number: 20150167222
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an apparatus and a method of controlling a washing machine, and the apparatus for controlling the washing machine includes a door detecting sensor configured to detect an open door of the washing machine; a driver configured to drive a drum of the washing machine; and a controller configured to recognize or determine whether the door is open from the door detecting sensor, and drive the driver to rotate the drum when the door is not open for a predetermined time after an end of a washing process of the washing machine. Accordingly, washed clothes left inside the washing machine for a long time after the end of the washing processes are managed, thereby preventing laundry having wrinkles and/or unpleasant smells or odors.

  • Patent number: 8829691
Abstract: A light-emitting device package includes: a package body on which a mount portion and a terminal portion are disposed; a light-emitting device chip that is mounted on the mount portion; and a bonding wire that electrically connects an electrode of the light-emitting device chip and the terminal portion. The bonding wire includes a rising portion that rises from the light-emitting device chip to a loop peak, and an extended portion that connects the loop peak and the terminal portion. A first kink portion, which is bent in a direction intersecting a direction in which the rising portion rises, is disposed on the rising portion.
