Abstract: A flexible display device includes a flexible display panel, a flexible printed circuit board extending from the display panel, an integrated circuit chip that is mounted on at least one surface of the flexible printed circuit board and is configured to drive the display panel, and a protection member attached to a rear surface of the display panel. When the flexible printed circuit board is flexed to be partially positioned on the rear surface of the display panel, the protection member is positioned between the display panel and the integrated circuit chip. The flexible display device prevents the integrated circuit chip stacked with the display panel from making direct contact with the display panel using the protection member. Thus, even if the display device is deformed into, for example, a flexed or rolled state, it is possible to prevent the display panel from being damaged.

Abstract: A driving method of an organic light emitting display device includes: classifying a plurality of luminance steps into at least a low luminance section and a high luminance section; and setting a reference luminance at a predefined level during the low luminance section and adjusting an off duty according to predetermined criteria for each step in the low luminance section.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for providing a Graphical User Interface (GUI) on an Active Matrix Organic Light-Emitting Diode (AMOLED) display of a device for reducing an image sticking effect are provided. The method includes displaying at least one item at an initial position on a screen of the display device, turning off the screen according to a predefined condition, receiving a display-on input command, and shifting the at least one item as much as a predefined distance from the initial position on the screen.

Abstract: A liquid crystal display for three-dimensional active shutter glasses is provided. The liquid crystal display includes an upper Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) electrode formed in a low surface of the upper glass and formed with a plurality of upper electrode patterns electrically connected to each other, and a lower ITO electrode formed in an upper surface of the lower glass and formed with a plurality of lower electrode patterns electrically connected to each other. Thereby, a liquid crystal operation characteristic is prevented from being deteriorated, a transmittance of incidence light is improved, and a user can view a brighter screen.
