When making a payment request, an affiliated store terminal directly generates transaction identification (T-ID) information and provides the generated T-ID information to a mobile terminal, and a user of the mobile terminal can use a rapid mobile payment service since the payment can be processed without waiting a response signal of a payment processing server receiving a payment request signal. Further, since user datagram protocol (UDP) communication is performed between the affiliated store terminal and a payment processing result notification server while a mobile payment is performed, the payment processing result notification server and the affiliated store terminal are provided so as to directly inquire a transaction state in the affiliated store terminal when the payment is completed by the mobile terminal.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are a payment system and method for a vending machine using a mobile terminal. The apparatus includes a mobile terminal, a service provider server, and a vending machine service provider server. The mobile terminal obtains the ID information of the vending machine from a tag attached to the vending machine, displays the amount of money to be paid for a product on a screen, and stores a receipt for the amount of money to be paid. The service provider server receives payment request information from the mobile terminal, approves the amount of money to be paid, and generates a transaction serial number. The vending machine service provider server receives the ID information, the transaction serial number, and the amount of money to be paid from the service provider server, and sends the information about the amount of money to be paid to the vending machine.

Abstract: A Bluetooth communication method and system allows a Bluetooth device to rapidly establish a Bluetooth connection. A first Bluetooth device that is in a client mode displays a visual representation of its ID on a display unit. A second Bluetooth device that is in a host mode acquires the displayed visual representation of the ID of the first Bluetooth device via a camera module and extracts the ID of the first Bluetooth device. The second Bluetooth device transmits a Bluetooth communication-connection-request signal to the first Bluetooth device using the extracted ID. The first Bluetooth device transmits a replay signal responding to the Bluetooth communication-connection-request signal to the second Bluetooth device. The second Bluetooth device receives the reply signal and establishes a Bluetooth communication channel with the first Bluetooth device.

Abstract: A washing machine and a method for controlling the same are provided. The washing machine includes a cabinet having a door on a front thereof, a tub in the cabinet that holds washing water, a drum rotatably mounted in the tub, a gasket mounted to connect openings of the door and the tub, and a lamp device having light emitting devices (LEDs) mounted on the gasket providing light an inside the washing machine. The method for controlling the washing machine includes turning on the LEDs providing light to the inside of the washing machine upon receiving an order of turning on a lighting through an LED input device, and turning off the LEDs upon receiving an order of turning off the lighting through the LED input device after the turning on the LEDs.
