Abstract: Provided are a copying apparatus and a user interface method for the same. The user interface method includes displaying a first region which includes information on an original document, and displaying a second region which includes information on virtual copy paper; changing the display of the second region in accordance with an input setting instruction; and when a copy instruction is input, copying the original document in accordance with the display of the second region. According to the present invention, an intuitive interface which even inexperienced users can easily use may be implemented.

Abstract: A broadcast receiving apparatus and a broadcast receiving method in which specific broadcast channels are distinguished, displayed and automatically tuned are provided. The broadcast receiving apparatus includes a broadcast receiver which tunes to a broadcast channel, a display information generator which generates display information to be displayed on one field of a display, and a controller which controls the display information generator to generate a list, in which specific broadcast channels are displayed differently from other broadcast channels among tunable broadcast channels and shown as display information, and controls the broadcast receiver to automatically tune to the specific broadcast channels from among the tunable broadcast channels.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are provided for generating emotional information including a user's impressions in relation to multimedia content or meta data regarding the emotional information, and a computer readable recording medium storing the method. The meta data generating method includes receiving emotional information in relation to the content from at least one client system which receives and reproduces the content; generating meta data for an emotion using the emotional information; and coupling the meta data for the emotion to the content. Accordingly, it is possible to automatically acquire emotional information by using the facial expression of a user who is appreciating multimedia content, and use the emotional information as meta data.

Abstract: A user interface method and apparatus which allow a user to intuitively control electronic devices connected to a home network by using a virtual 3D space layout diagram, and electronic devices and storage media therefor are provided. The user interface method includes: generating a virtual 3D space layout diagram based on 3D position information regarding at least one electronic device connected to a home network; displaying the generated virtual 3D space layout diagram; receiving an input signal based on the displayed virtual 3D space layout diagram; and performing a user interface function corresponding to the received input signal.

Abstract: An image processing method and apparatus for automatically rotating an image and a display unit, and an information storage medium storing image information. The apparatus including a photographing unit which generates image data and a rotation sensing unit which generates rotational information of a rotation state of the photographing unit. When an object is photographed, the rotation information of the image is obtained and stored together, and when the image is displayed, the rotation is analyzed and the image and display unit are automatically rotated. When an image including moving picture information is watched, an image always optimized to be horizontal without additional work by a user can be seen.
