The display apparatus includes: a display panel; a chassis accommodating the display panel; a plurality of circuit boards accommodated in the chassis; a flexible cable electrically connected to each of the plurality of circuit boards; and a deformation member comprising a thermally reactive material positioned on a portion of the cable wherein, at least one portion of the cable is configured to contact the chassis to provide a return path based on heat being generated by the chassis to deform the deformation member.

Abstract: A plasma display apparatus is provided to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI) emission, the plasma display apparatus including: a display panel; a plurality of conductive sheets of which first surfaces are connected to a rear surface of a lower panel; and a base chassis which is connected to second surfaces of the plurality of conductive sheets through a plurality of conductive substances. Therefore, emission of EMI generated while the plasma display panel is operating can be effectively reduced.

Abstract: A display apparatus is provided, which includes a front cover having an opening through which an image is exposed; a rear cover which is coupled to the front cover and which is made of conductive materials; an image providing panel which provides an image through the opening of the front cover; a protection filter which is disposed between the front cover and the image providing panel and which has a conductive film to shield electromagnetic waves; and a connection unit which is in contact with an edge surface of the protection filter. The connection unit electrically connects the rear cover to an exposed end of the conductive film which is exposed on the edge surface.
