    Abstract: Devices for applying orthodontic forces. A device includes an adaptor having a housing section configured to fit directly onto a sheath of a molar band and a tube section having an elongated bore. The device also includes a pin having a head portion and a tail portion, where the tail portion is slidably mounted into the elongated bore of the tube section. The head portion of the pin is adapted to slide into the sheath to thereby detachably lock the adaptor to the molar band.
