  • Patent number: 7710037
Abstract: A plasma display panel that can improve a driving efficiency by advancing a structure of at least one of a first electrode and a second electrode in a dummy area or a pad area is provided. The plasma display panel includes a front substrate in which a first electrode and a second electrode in parallel to each other are disposed, a rear substrate in which a third electrode intersecting the first electrode and the second electrode is disposed, and a barrier rib disposed between the front substrate and the rear substrate and for partitioning a discharge cell. At least one of the first electrode and the second electrode includes a plurality of line portions intersecting the third electrode in an active area, and two or more line portions of at least one of the first electrode and the second electrode are combined into one in a dummy area at the outer side of the active area.
