Abstract: A computer system including an adapter, a computer main body, and a connector connecting the adapter and the computer main body. The adapter includes a source power connector supplying an input power, a power converter converting the input power into an output power, an output power connector outputting the output power to a computer main body, a plurality of ports to which an external device is connected, and a controller receiving the output power from the power converter and controlling a signal inputted/outputted to the port. Aspects of the present invention provide a computer system including an adapter having a hub communicating with an external device without a battery discharge, and a plurality of ports.

Abstract: A brake holding system for a vehicle, comprising a vacuum magnetic member, a brake pedal extension arm which is attached to a push rod which, in turn, is connected to the master cylinder. The brake holding system can be actuated by a vacuum magnetic member when the speed of the vehicle is reduced to 0 mph under activation of a plurality of sensors while the vehicle is completely stopped.

Abstract: A watering device for plants which comprises horizontal parallel pivot rods and a plant container which is balanced on one of the horizontal pivot rods by an adjusting weight member slidably disposed at the other horizontal pivot rod, and a water reservoir tank is operatively associated with the plant container so that as the plant container becomes lighter as to a loss of water. The adjusting weight member operatively associated with the plant container actuates a valve in the water reservoir tank through a transfer member mounted to third one of horizontal parallel pivot rods and transfer water from the water reservoir tank to the plant container until a balance is again achieved, and when the balance is reached, the valve in the water tank is again closed.

Abstract: A brake holding system for vehicles, comprising a vacuum and magnetic device including a brake holder, a moon gear having a plurality of teeth, a push rod connected to a master cylinder, a holding switch positioned for easy accessibility near the vehicle operator and a brake releasing switch operatively associated with the accelerator. The brake holding system can be placed into position after the vehicle is stopped, for example, at a stoplight, by actuating a switch. The brake is then automatically unlocked by depressing the accelerator pedal. Also, the driver can pull an emergency handle to mechanically release the brake.
