  • Publication number: 20170093118
Abstract: Provided is a tunable wavelength laser module including: an external cavity type light source generating broadband light; an optical waveguide; a Bragg grating formed in the optical waveguide; a heater provided above the optical waveguide in which the Bragg grating is formed and adjusting a reflection band of the Bragg grating by a thermo-optic effect; a direction change waveguide region changing direction of optical signals obtained by the adjusted reflection band of the Bragg grating, by a predetermined angle; a 45-degree reflection part transmitting some of the optical signals direction-changed by the direction change waveguide region and escaping from the optical waveguide therethrough and reflecting the others of the optical signals in a vertical upward direction thereby; and a lens making the optical signals reflected in the vertical upward direction by the 45-degree reflection part collimated light or convergent light.

  • Patent number: 9315869
Abstract: The present invention relates to a marker for predicting a gastric cancer prognosis, a composition and a kit for predicting gastric cancer prognosis comprising an agent for measuring the expression level thereof, and a method for predicting gastric cancer prognosis using the marker. According to the present invention, gastric cancer prognosis may be predicted promptly and accurately, and an appropriate treatment plan can be determined based on the predicted prognosis, which has an advantage of contributing to significant reduction of death caused by gastric cancer. Particularly, according to the present invention, the survival rate can be remarkably increased by using the treatment method for a stage III gastric cancer patient to a patient who has been predicted to have a negative prognosis among stage Ib/II gastric cancer patients.

  • Patent number: 5805307
Abstract: A contact image sensor assembly for use in a facsimile comprises a scan roller and a contact image sensor to allow a manuscript to be passed therebetween during the rotation of the scan roller. The scan roller is rotatably mounted to a pair of side brackets having a slit, respectively, the slit having a roller fixing groove and a bent groove upwardly bent. A screw consists of a fastening portion fastened to a tap hole of the contact image sensor and an axle inserted into the slit. During the rotation of the scan roller, the axle of the screw is upwardly shifted along the bent groove while the contact image sensor is leftwardly biased by two springs, thereby automatically aligning with a desired scan point of the contact image sensor.
