  • Publication number: 20220255143
Abstract: The present invention relates to a battery management circuit, comprising a signal extraction unit, a clock capture unit, a voltage-controlled oscillator, and a voltage sampling unit. The signal extraction unit is suitable for extracting a synchronous pulse signal from a communication bus connected to the battery management circuit. The clock capture unit is connected to the signal extraction unit, and is suitable for generating a clock signal according to the synchronous pulse signal. The voltage-controlled oscillator is suitable for transforming a battery unit voltage into a voltage frequency signal. The voltage sampling unit is suitable for sampling the voltage frequency signal according to the clock signal to obtain a sampling voltage of the battery unit voltage.

  • Patent number: 10826138
Abstract: Method and apparatus for contact detection in battery packs are disclosed. The battery pack may comprise at least a first battery cell and a second battery cell, and a power bar for coupling a first electrode of the first battery cell to a second electrode of the second battery cell. The first battery cell comprises a supervisor, which comprises a transmitter/receiver for signal communication with the second battery cell via a communication wire, and a voltage difference detector coupled to the power bar and the communication wire, for detecting a voltage difference between the power bar and the communication wire. The supervisor may indicate degraded contact of the power bar if the detected voltage difference is out of a predetermined threshold range. A battery cell and a method for monitoring a battery pack are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 8097521
Abstract: An electronic device (ICD) comprises an integrated circuit (AIC) and a capacitance element (PIC). The integrated circuit (AIC) is provided with a plurality of circuit contact pairs (CI). The capacitance element (PIC) is provided with a plurality of capacitance contact pairs (CC). A capacitance is present between each of at least part of the capacitance contact pairs (CC). The plurality of capacitance contact pairs (CC) faces the plurality of circuit contact pairs (CI). At least a part of the capacitance contact pairs (CC) is electrically coupled in a pair-by-pair manner to at least a part of the circuit contact pairs (CI).
