  • Patent number: 10505259
Abstract: A telecommunications antenna comprising a conductive ground plane and at least one pair of broadband radiators mounted, and electrically connected, to the conductive ground plane. Each of the broadband radiators includes first and second dipole elements wherein the first dipole element is tuned to a first broadband frequency and the second dipole element is tuned to a second broadband frequency. At least one of the dipole elements associated with one broadband radiator is spatially positioned relative to the respective dipole element of the other broadband radiator to minimize electrical coupling therebetween. Dipole elements tuned to the same frequency on each broadband radiator are oriented orthogonally to mitigate electrical coupling across the dipole elements.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 18, 2016
Date of Patent: December 10, 2019
Assignee: CSS Antenna, LLC (A JMA Company)
Inventors: Kevin T. Le, William J. Brown, Jordan E. Ragos, Shawn M. Chawgo
