Publication number: 20240029852Abstract: A system and method for determining event discrepancies between disparate systems is described. The system can receive sets of events from multiple systems. The system can normalize the sets of events to convert them into normalized events. From a normalized set of events, the system can concurrently generate a plurality of event arrays. The system can apply one or more rules to the event arrays to generate at least one event array parameter.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 17, 2023Publication date: January 25, 2024Inventors: Jeremy Ian Yanowitz, Eric Russell Brody, Christian Lee Doyle, Michael Christopher Wimpee, Ramsey Richard Chambers, Cameron James Alexander Ferroni, Hannah Margaret Holtzman, Ross Andrew Reed, Matthew Jordan Kirk, Lukas Nagel

Patent number: 11441391Abstract: A pump that is configured to lift fluids through a tubing string includes a gas mitigation system and a screen flush module. The gas mitigation system has a canister with an interior and an intake screen. The gas mitigation system further includes an intake tube that extends into the canister. The screen flush module is configured to flush solids particles trapped in the intake screen.Type: GrantFiled: November 25, 2019Date of Patent: September 13, 2022Assignee: Baker Hughes, a GE Company, LLCInventors: Reda El-Mahbes, Jordan Kirk, Leslie Reid

Patent number: 11041374Abstract: A gas mitigation system for use in connection with a subsurface pump includes a shroud hanger that has one or more orifices that permit the passage of fluids through the shroud hanger. A canister connected to the shroud hanger has an open upper end. An intake tube connected to the tubing string extends into the canister. The canister is sized and configured to cause fluids passing around the outside of the canister to accelerate, thereby encouraging the separation of gas and liquid components. The open shroud hanger and open upper end of the canister allow heavier liquid components to fall into the canister, where the liquid-enriched fluid can be drawn into the subsurface pump.Type: GrantFiled: March 26, 2019Date of Patent: June 22, 2021Assignee: Baker Hughes, a GE Company, LLCInventors: Reda El-Mahbes, Jordan Kirk, Leslie Reid, Jerry Ross

Patent number: 11042923Abstract: Apparatus, article of manufacture and methods for recommending a jewelry item that comprise receiving, at a jewelry interface, user-input data regarding: a selection of at least one jewelry item. The at least one jewelry item comprises a plurality of characteristics. User-input data also includes an indication of a level of importance for at least one characteristic of a jewelry item. Each level of importance corresponds to a co-efficient. An ideal profile is computed based in part on the selection of the at least one jewelry item and the indication of the level of importance, an ideal profile. A matching algorithm is applied to a plurality of jewelry items stored in an inventory. Based on the matching algorithm, at least one recommended jewelry item is identified as most closely matching the ideal profile. An indication of the at least one recommended jewelry item is transmitted.Type: GrantFiled: May 8, 2019Date of Patent: June 22, 2021Inventors: Brian Watkins, Alex Berg, Josh Marion, Matthew Jordan Kirk, Simon Tam

Publication number: 20200309135Abstract: A horizontal pumping system has a motor, a pump driven by the motor and a priming module. The pump has a discharge on a first end of the pump, a suction end on a second end of the pump, and a plurality of stages between the suction end and the discharge. Each of the plurality of stages includes an impeller and a diffuser that encases the impeller. Each diffuser is an independent pressure vessel. The priming module may be a wet priming module or a dry priming module. The priming module permits the use of the horizontal pumping system in many applications in which the liquid is not naturally present at the pump intake.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 26, 2020Publication date: October 1, 2020Applicant: Baker Hughes, a GE Company, LLCInventors: Jordan Kirk, Matthew Walls, Deric Thomas, Leslie Reid

Publication number: 20200158125Abstract: A surface pumping system has a motor and a pump driven by the motor. The pump has a discharge on a first end of the pump, a suction end on a second end of the pump, and a plurality of stages between the suction end and the discharge. Each of the plurality of stages includes an impeller and a diffuser that encases the impeller. Each diffuser is an independent pressure vessel. In some embodiments, the diffuser and impeller in each stage are large and configured for use in low net positive suction head (NPSH) applications.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 15, 2019Publication date: May 21, 2020Applicant: Baker Hughes, a GE Company, LLCInventors: Deric Thomas, Gustav Guijt, Matthew Walls, Jordan Kirk

Patent number: 9856721Abstract: A well pump assembly has a motor operatively connected to a well pump that has an intake. The well pump assembly has a capillary tube that extends alongside the tubing and has an outlet at the well pump assembly. A chemical injection pump is connected to an upper end of the capillary tube adjacent a wellhead of the well. A logic system detects well fluid falling back downward in the tubing and out the intake into the well, and in response turns on the chemical injection pump, which pumps a chemical down the capillary tube into the well adjacent or within the well pump assembly. Once upward flow of well fluid in the tubing has been established, the chemical injection pump may be turned off.Type: GrantFiled: April 8, 2015Date of Patent: January 2, 2018Assignee: Baker Hughes, a GE Company, LLCInventors: Leslie C. Reid, Jordan Kirk, Brian W. Messer, Gary L. Allred
