  • Patent number: 12287117
Abstract: A dedicated outdoor air system (DOAS) includes an outdoor unit providing a temperature at a set dry bulb temperature and dew point temperature in a wide variety of outdoor air conditions. The DOAS monitors and modulates suction pressure and head pressure in order to maintain a dew point temperature of 45° F. for supplied air. Furthermore, the DOAS includes a hot gas reheat coil, allowing the system to heat the air to 73° F. before supplying the air to a space, even where outdoor air temperature is lower than 73° F. In one embodiment, the DOAS includes an energy recovery ventilator (ERV) in order to precondition the air to decrease the amount of energy needed to operate the DOAS in some conditions.

  • Publication number: 20250082752
Abstract: Disrupting convergence of lytic granules produced by cytotoxic lymphocytes allows non-directional degranulation, which improves and broadens killing efficiency of the cytotoxic cells in pathogenic environments such as when used for cancer therapy. Accordingly, methods of inducing multidirectional degranulation by cytotoxic effector cells in a tumor microenvironment, methods of treating a tumor, and related therapeutic composition are described.

  • Publication number: 20240303655
Abstract: A method for requesting authorization of a payment instrument is provided. The method can include receiving a request for authorization of the payment instrument. The request can include a first identifier identifying the payment instrument. The method can also include obtaining a second identifier identifying a user of the payment instrument and/or a third identifier identifying a physical asset. The method can further include determining an association between at least two of the first identifier, the second identifier, or the third identifier. The method can also include determining, based on a rule and the association, to approve the request for authorization and transmitting data to approve the request for authorization. Related systems, computer-readable mediums, techniques and articles are also described.

  • Patent number: 12044178
Abstract: A system includes an air cooling system having a heat exchanger, a fan, and a mount. The heat exchanger includes an inlet, an outlet, and a heat exchange conduit between the inlet and the outlet. The inlet is configured to couple to a bleed system of a gas turbine system to extract a bleed flow. The heat exchanger is configured to cool the bleed flow along the heat exchange conduit in a surrounding air to produce a cooled bleed flow. The outlet is configured to couple to a fuel purge system of the gas turbine system to supply the cooled bleed flow as a fuel purge flow. The fan is configured to force an airflow from the surrounding air through the heat exchanger. The mount is configured to mount the air cooling system outside of an enclosure surrounding the gas turbine system.

  • Patent number: 11807247
Abstract: Methods, devices and systems enable controlling an autonomous vehicle by identifying a vehicle that is within a threshold distance of the autonomous vehicle, determining an autonomous capability metric (ACM) the identified vehicle, determining whether the ACM of the identified vehicle is greater than a first threshold, determining whether the ACM of the identified vehicle is less than a second threshold, and adjusting a driving parameter of the autonomous vehicle so that the autonomous vehicle is more or less reliant on the capabilities of the identified vehicle based on whether the ACM of the identified vehicle exceeds the thresholds.
