Abstract: There are disclosed herein implementations of a system providing a direct dynamic multinode (DDM) wireless network, and a method for use by the system. Such a system includes multiple nodes configured for wireless communication, at least one of the nodes being configured to receive external data from an external source. Each of the nodes is configured to discover other nodes of the DDM wireless network. Each of the nodes is also configured to run a time and phase tracking function to provide synchronization between the nodes, and to route control and data information directly to other nodes so as to synchronously output the external data.

Abstract: An apparatus for connecting a rider to a bike comprises a belt with a link at the front to a coupling on the bike frame which coupling allows hands free release of the link from the frame. A strap connected to the belt at one end and to a cable at the other end which has a ball bearing attached which engages a mating recess in the coupling such that the rider can disengage the cable by moving her body forward of the coupling.

Abstract: A control apparatus (10) for controlling flow of water through a shower head (21) supplied with water from conventional taps (11,12) through a water outlet (14), the control apparatus (10) including a flow valve (17) connected to the outlet (14) and operating means for the valve in the form of a rigid rod (24) attached to the valve (17) and extending to a position adjacent the taps (11,12). Movement of the rod (24) in opposite directions effects opening and closing of the valve (17). The rod (24) may also carry a cover or shield to cover the taps (11, 12) to prevent their inadvertent operation.
