The cross-linked agar matrix is reinforced with carboxymethyl cellulose that is dispersed throughout the agar matrix so as to fill empty spaces in the agar matrix and inhibit the composition from passing through the empty spaces of the agar matrix.

Abstract: A system includes a transformer rectifier unit (TRU) including a backfeed sense module. A contactor is operatively connected to the TRU for selectively supplying DC power to a DC bus from the TRU with the contactor closed and isolating the DC bus from the TRU with the contactor opened. Abstract: The bear spray holster with sound alarm is intended to prevent bear attacks on humans. The holster includes a cylindrical body for securing an aerosol canister and a portable alarm. In addition, the holster includes a pull strap that is configured to connect the canister to the detachable pull ring on the portable alarm. By securing both ends of the pull strap, the portable alarm activates when the canister is removed from the cylindrical body. During a bear encounter, the user can easily remove the canister from the holster and activate the portable alarm, all in one motion. Although bears typically hold their breath during a short-range charge or assault, the sound of the alarm disrupts the bear's breathing pattern. This disruption gives the user the best opportunity to spray in the direction of the bear, causing the bear to inhale more of the chemical repellant and retreat.

Aspects include receiving, by a processor associated with a sensor, a first request to test a transmitter function of the sensor, transmitting a test message to one or more other sensors associated with the aircraft, and listening to a transmitter associated with each of the one or more other sensors to determine a transmitter status of the sensor, wherein the transmitter status of the sensor is a pass status based on receiving a confirmation from at least one of the one or more other sensors. Aspects also include transmitting air data parameters and health status parameters associated with the air data probe to the one or more other air data probes.
