  • Patent number: 8682636
Abstract: Computer-implemented methods, systems, computer programs and data files implement and use techniques for recording and recreating user interactions with an application program. User actions performed in interacting with an application program in a first user interface environment are detected, and an abstract representation of the user actions is recorded. The user actions access one or more components of the first user interface environment, which implement user interface elements of the application program. The abstract representation describes the user actions in a format independent of the components of the first user interface environment. The abstract representation is usable in a second user interface environment to recreate results of the user actions in the application program. The abstract representations can be used to test application programs in different user interface environments.

Inventors: Jorg Bischof, Christian Cohrs, Christian Denkel, Markus Dinkel, Martin Kolb
  • Patent number: 7099893
Abstract: Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, for recording user actions includes receiving information representing a sequence of individual software application input actions taken by a user with respect to a software application, and recording the sequence as a higher level entry.

  • Publication number: 20030229851
Abstract: In a computer system for displaying a content page (250) on first and second computers (901, 902), layouts are defined in a first layout file (251) and a second layout file (252). The first and second layout files (251, 252) each are provided by a parser that reads a first markup language document and a second markup language document, respectively. Each markup language document has a first entity and a second entity in that instructions define portions of the respective layout file (251/252) by predefined information added to the respective layout file (251/252) and by parameterized values also added to the respective layout file (251/252). The parameterized values are valid for both the first entity and the second entity.

  • Patent number: 5540687
Abstract: This invention relates to a device for the gradual distraction of bones, to be used especially in craniofacial dysostoses with early stenosis of the cranial sutures, comprising an internally threaded first sleeve intermeshing with an externally threaded spindle, which has an activating point. The spindle consists of an anterior extension, which slides into a second, unthreaded sleeve and rotates freely therein. The first sleeve is fitted with the first mounting plate, which rotates and features bore holes for the fixation via mini-screws to bone. The second sleeve embracing the spindle, is furnished with the holding elements for attachment in or to the bone.
