    Abstract: An automatic transmission is provided, which has a drive area, a hydrodynamic converter, and a driven area. In such a transmission, there are power paths via both the hydrodynamic converter, purely mechanical power paths around the hydrodynamic converter and combined power paths. It is provided in accordance with the invention that precisely one planetary gear set is provided in the driven area. A braking means is further provided which is suitable for tightly holding the turbine of the hydrodynamic converter.

    Abstract: A transmission/heat exchanger unit comprising a transmission comprising an input (E) and at least one output (A), and a heat exchanger assigned to the output side of the transmission. The heat exchanger is connected to the transmission at least indirectly via connecting lines. Ducts which route oil are integrated in the case of the transmission and extend at least over part of the axial extent of the case of the transmission to the end face of the transmission on its output side. A retaining device fastening the heat exchanger to the end face of the case of the transmission on the output side. The connecting lines that couple the oil-routing ducts in the transmission and the heat exchanger are integrated in the retaining device. Complementary connections of a standard type and size are located on the retaining device and the transmission case for oil routing and for fastening the retaining device.
