Abstract: Fibers, preferably electret fibers, made of materials which contain predominantly fiber-forming polymer or polycondensate, with a preparation applied onto the fibers, where the applied preparation contains at least one active substance which has volatilized after a time period of 20 minutes at a temperature of at most 250° C., preferably at most 230° C., to at least 80 weight % are disclosed. The active substance is preferably a compound having the general formula (I) R1R2R3NO  (I) where R1 is hydrogen or an unsubstituted or substituted C1-C30 alkyl, alkenyl, or aryl group, and R2 and R3, independently of one another, are hydrogen or unsubstituted or substituted C1-C10 alkyl, alkenyl, or aryl groups.

Abstract: Electret fibers having improved charge stability are described which are composed of a material which predominantly contains a fiber-forming polymer or polycondensate and 0.01 to 30% by weight (preferably 0.01 to 10, in particular 0.1 to 5%, by weight), based on the weight of the material, of organic or organometallic charge control compounds, as contained in toners for electrophotographic processes, and a process for the production thereof. In addition, textile materials containing these electret fibers are described.

Abstract: A non-wovens fabric of electret fibers having an improved charge stability and comprising materials which chiefly comprise a fiber-forming addition or condensation polymer and 0.01 to 30% by weight (preferably 0.01 to 10, in particular 0.1 to 5, % by weight), based on the weight of the material, of organic or organometallic charge control agents, wherein the non-woven fabric comprises at least two types of electret fiber which are made of different materials which differ from one another in that they comprise different fiber-forming addition or condensation polymers and if appropriate also different charge control agents is described.

Abstract: Aromatic polyamide compositions with improved electrostatic properties, formed structures produced therefrom, and use and production thereof.Described are compositions comprising an aromatic polyamide which is soluble in organic solvents and from 0.01 to 30% by weight, based on the weight of the composition, of an organic or organometallic charge control agent.The compositions can be used for producing formed structures, in particular fibers; these fibers are preferably used for producing webs which can be used for producing dust filters.
