In particular, the present invention relates to a fragrance release composition that can be prepared and shaped, preferably extruded, in a variety of shapes at various temperatures including room temperature but also when heated up. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a product comprising a fragrance release composition according to the invention and a method for producing such a fragrance release composition or product as well as its use to impart fragrance to air or to fabric and combination products.
