  • Patent number: 8482299
Abstract: A method of detecting the position of the armature (3) of an electromagnetic actuator arranged and able to move between first and second coils (1, 2), in which a voltage jump (UB) is applied to the first and the second coils (1, 2) of the actuator connected in series. The first and the second coils (1, 2) form a voltage divider in accordance with the impedance coil principle. The voltage (U1) of the first coil (1) and the voltage (U2) of the second coil (2) are measured and, from the measurement data for the voltages at the first and the second coils (1, 2), the quotient of the difference (?U) between the two voltage values and the voltage jump (UB), normalized in relation to the size of the voltage jump (UB) is calculated, and a specific armature stroke is correlated one-to-one with each value of the quotient.

  • Publication number: 20090108834
Abstract: A method and device for non-contact measurement of relative displacement (path difference) between a first component (2) and a second component (4), which are moving in an absolute sense to a structure that is fixed in position. The device includes a field barrier element (8, 10) arranged on each of the two components. These elements have structures that result in different magnetic permeation resistances at different relative overlaps. The field barrier elements project into a magnetic field that permeates them. A means (30) is associated with this magnetic field for determining the magnetic field strength that varies as a function of overlap of the field barrier elements and for evaluating the values determined.

  • Publication number: 20060254351
Abstract: A sensor arrangement (1) for a tachometric sensor of an automatic transmission (4) of a motor vehicle, which encompasses a module carrier (2) in which a part of a sensor housing (3) is integrated. The sensor housing (3) is secured in the module carrier (2) or in the transmission housing (4) by way of a guide in the plane and is so affixed as to prevent turning and an apparatus (5) for the generation of a prestress force by way of which the sensor housing (3) is pressed in the direction of the signal disk by way of a projection (8, 8?) acting against the sensor housing (3).
