    Abstract: A radioactive .sup.57 Co source consists of the intermetallic composition CoSb.sub.3 which emits an energetically non-disintegrated 14.4 KeV line. This composition is strictly stoichiometrical and may be dissolved in excess Sb. The atom percent proportion of .sup.57 Co may be up to 25%.
