A two-part selector lever is provided including a selector lever upper part and a selector lever lower part accommodating same. The selector lever is mounted rotatably in each of the two shifting gates via a separate shifting axis. The connection between the selector lever upper part and the selector lever lower part is engaged or disengaged by changing from one shifting gate to the other.
