Abstract: A process for preparing salts of pharmaceutical active substances which have acidic groups by reacting the carboxylic acids with a base in the melt, wherein the acids are reacted with at least the stoichiometric amount of a base in an extruder.

Abstract: The method is for non-erasable or non-alterable storage of data records in a device, initialization establishing the format of the data records and determining those data fields by way of which summation is permissible. An initialization character sequence is transmitted that has at least a number and length of the data fields to be stored. The valid initialization character sequence is accepted and executed only once. After acceptance only data records whose coding satisfies the information is accepted.

Abstract: A method of producing a cold-rolled strip from a stainless, ferretic or austenitic high-grade steel or a titanium alloy, wherein the strip which has been wound into a coil and has been manufactured by a hot-rolling or casting process is subjected in one pass to the steps of unwinding the coil, mechanically descaling the strip if required, subsequently chemically and/or electrochemically first or black pickling of the strip, then cold-rolling the strip to finished dimensions, degreasing the strip as required, annealing the strip, finish-pickling the strip and, if necessary, passivating, dressing and stretcher-leveling the strip. The pickling step is carried out in a pickling solution which contains hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid and/or nitric acid.
