Abstract: Composite laminated adhesive tape coiled endlessly in roll form, comprising a central tape and first and third fastening tapes each disposed at respective ends thereof, with the surface of said fastening tapes being provided, at least partly, with pressure-sensitive adhesive, wherein in cross section the composite laminated adhesive tape coiled endlessly in roll form is folded in Z-form, with the top, slanted and bottom bars of the Z-shape being formed by separate first, second and third tape sections of first fastening tape, second central tape and third fastening tape, respectively.

Abstract: A composite adhesive closure tape comprising an assembly of sheets laminated one over the other including a central elastomeric sheet having at least one stretching axis; anchor strips disposed over the elastomeric sheet and adhered to opposite marginal end portions of the elastomeric sheet, each anchor strip having one end portion adhered to the elastomeric sheet and an unadhered end portion extending along the stretching axis in opposite directions away from the elastomeric sheet, the unadhered end portions being covered on their bottom surfaces with adhesive; a release strip underlying the elastomeric sheet, the bottom of the release strip being at least partially covered with adhesive; and an attachment sheet underlying and adhered to a portion of one of the anchor strips and underlying end adhered to the adhesive of the release strip. The composite adhesive tape may be provided in a roll or attached to the edge of a diaper.

Abstract: Composite prelaminated tape for forming closures for disposable diapers comprising a pressure-sensitive adhesive fastening tape partially overlying a release tape and a unifying strip bridging an edge of the release tape and the adjacent portion of the fastening tape. In use, the fastening tape and the release tape are bonded permanently to opposite sides of one edge of the diaper, the end of the fastening tape overlying the release tape being thereafter lifted free from the release tape and adhered to the opposite edge of the diaper from which it can be respectively reused and re-adhered to the edge of the diaper.
