In the area of motor vans, caravans, mobile homes or boats, secondary facilities, such as air conditioners, venting windows and lighting systems can be controlled with the arrangement. Likewise, sensor signals concerning the status of the battery charge, of a fresh water container or of alarm signals from smoke and movement detectors can be received and processed by the inventive installation by radio. Preferably, the signals can be put out or passed on over a cellular phone network to a cellular phone, in order to supply information directly to the user concerning his recreational vehicle.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a cutting device provided with a simple design, easiness of use and with improved cleanability. This cutting device serves to cut foodstuffs into slices and strips. To this end, the device is provided with a fixed blade element, which has a cutting edge (13) and which, together with an elastically deflectable flexible tongue (9), forms an adjustable cutting gap for the item to be cut. A slideway for the item to be cut is formed by the flexible tongue (9). A shaft supporting a blade arrangement (27) extends transversal to the slideway and is equipped with disk cutters, which extend perpendicular to the axis of the shaft and which are guided though slots of the flexible tongue (9). The disk cutters project into the slideway to an extent the defines the height of cut that can be set according to the rotation angle position of said shaft.

    Abstract: In a U-cup based seal of a rod, the basic body of the U-cup 3 is recessed relative to a square cross-sectional shape in the region of a radially inner outer edge 18 on the low pressure side in order to obtain a space 17 between the U-cup 3 and the opening, i.e. the passage opening 16 of a sealing gap 15, leading into a rectangular groove 4 guiding the U-cup 3. This space 17 remains at least partially also upon pressurization such that the U-cup 3 completely remains in the groove 4 upon pressurization and is not extruded into the sealing gap 15. This considerably reduces wear of the U-cup 3.

    Abstract: A cast housing is provided for carrying switchgear components, such as a power switch or circuit-breaker, a busbar, a disconnecting switch and a grounding switch and bushings, to a multi-phase medium-voltage switchgear. It is substantially cuboid-shaped and is filled with an insulating gas. This cast housing is designed such that it may be used without substantial modifications in all possible designs of switchgear for a given switchgear voltage. This is achieved by the cast housing having large openings at the front wall and at the side surfaces adjoining the front wall and having a comparatively small opening at each of the rear walls and the top and bottom surfaces for each phase of a switchgear having from one to four phases.
