  • Patent number: 7088207
Abstract: An electrical switching device for fault-current, overcurrent and short-circuit current protection, has a contact point in a current path and a switching mechanism for permanently opening the contact point. The switching device further has a configuration for detecting the fault current, the overcurrent and the short-circuit current, and contains two permanent magnets and a core. The core is disposed between the like poles of the permanent magnets which point toward one another and one of which is fixed and the other is guided such that it can move. The permanent magnets are at least partially surrounded by a coil through which a fault, an overcurrent or a short-circuit current flows. When a current flow occurs in the coil, the magnetic field is changed causing a relative movement of the moving part, and the movement is transmitted to the contact point.

  • Patent number: 6778368
Abstract: An electrical service distribution board is accommodated in a housing, has a feed conductor that is inserted into the housing and has outgoer conductors that lead to individual loads. Electrical service devices with different protection tasks, such as fault current protection, short circuit or over-current protection and the like, which can be connected to the feed conductor and to the outgoer conductors by a plug connection via a connection system which contains connection conductors connected to them. A mounting plate is providing for holding the service devices, with the connection conductors disposed underneath the mounting plate and the mounting plate having openings into which plug elements which are disposed on the service devices can be inserted.

  • Patent number: 4083760
Abstract: A device and process of electrolytic precision drilling of a plurality of in-line boreholes formed in a row, the boreholes having skewed axes and serving as cooling air holes in a workpiece includes a plurality of tubular electrodes for passing a stream of electrolyte therethrough, the stream being directed at the workpiece, an electrolyte manifold head, the tubular electrodes being attached thereto, guidance means which have an upper edge and are provided with coaxial guidance bores for each of the bores to be formed in the workpiece for receiving the tubular electrodes respectively, and where the guidance means are rigid with the workpiece, and feed means for the tubular electrodes. The electrodes are dimensioned for a guidance-free length to remain between the attachment point of the tubular electrodes of the electrolyte manifold when the electrodes reach a final bore depth in the workpiece; that length is at least equal to fifty times the diameter of one of the tubular electrodes.

  • Patent number: 4043883
Abstract: An electrolytic precision drilling process for making one or more holes in a workpiece, the axis of which hole exhibits an inclination of between 2.degree. to 20.degree. relative to the surface of the workpiece, by means of at least one tubular electrode through which a stream of an electrolyte is directed onto the workpiece, comprising positioning a guide member during the drilling for sealing the gap between the guide member and the surface of the workpiece adjacent to the hole or holes, such that a surface of the guide member forms an angular space with the surface of the workpiece, the aperture angle of the angular space being twice the angle of inclination of the electrode relative to the surface of the workpiece, and the apex of which is in the area of a sharp upper edge of each hole. If one hole is drilled in this manner, the conical angular space is formed. If there are more holes, the angular space is substantially wedge-shaped, and in this case the guide member is preferably prismatic.
