  • Publication number: 20230400047
Abstract: A functional component which is designed to be secured to a holding component by pressing a connecting element into a depression of the holding component. In a non-deformed state, the connecting element protrudes in a press-in direction from a base body of the functional component and is designed to be deformed by applying a force to the base body, so that the connecting element is widened in an end area and the end area is introduced into a wall of the depression. The base body includes a contact surface surrounding the connecting element which abuts a support surface of the holding component in a coupled state of the functional component. A functional module of the functional component is provided by a partial area of the base body facing away from the contact surface.

  • Publication number: 20230272583
Abstract: A method for at least one of regulating and controlling at least one dampening device suitable for dampening a material web, the method comprising the steps of: providing that the dampening device includes a valve which includes at least one electromagnetic force transmitter, a reset force transmitter, a valve body, the dampening device further including a control unit and an application nozzle; and performing, by the dampening device, a cleaning cycle, the valve being a proportional valve, the proportional valve pulsing about a set target value, a deviation from the set target value occurring by way of a timing such that the deviation from the set target value results, the deviation being at least one of a positive deviation and a negative deviation.

  • Patent number: 10646911
Abstract: A method for producing a complex sheet metal part includes clamping a border region of the metal sheet between a die ring of an upper tool part of a pressing tool and a downholder of a lower tool part of the pressing tool; moving the upper tool part further downwards thereby pulling the metal sheet over extended punch inserts of a punch of the lower tool part, thereby generating local material reserves of the metal sheet; moving the upper tool part further downwards while actively retracting the punch inserts, thereby releasing the local material reserves; and forming the metal sheet between the die and the punch using only the local material reserves.

  • Patent number: 8092650
Abstract: This invention relates to a method for producing or treating a fibrous web, in particular a paper web or paperboard web, with which at least one property of the fibrous web, in particular a CD (cross direction) profile, such as the moisture CD profile, is established such that a preselected quality range is adhered to or a predefined quality value is undershot by no more than a predefined deviation, wherein the power consumption of the method, in particular the heat energy input, is reduced therewith by establishing at least one property such that the lowest permissible value of the quality range or the maximum permissible deviation is reached at least approximately on a straight line.

  • Patent number: 8029648
Abstract: In a method for moistening a material web, particularly a moving web, particularly a paper or cardboard web, the moisture is applied onto the material web via at least two medium flows of different temperatures, particularly two vapor flows, or one vapor flow and one gas flow.

  • Publication number: 20090199987
Abstract: This invention relates to a dewatering apparatus, in particular a paper machine or a paperboard machine, for the adjustable, and controllable dewatering of a fibrous material, which is conveyed as a fibrous web that can be divided into at least two zones arranged side by side in a cross direction (CD). The dewatering apparatus is characterized in that the dewatering of the fibrous material is adaptable to a dewatering curve defined in a machine direction on the basis of measurements of the water weight of the fibrous material taken by at least two water weight sensors, in particular a one-dimensional or multi-dimensional sensor arrangement of water weight sensors, which are assigned to a zone and arranged preferably in pairs in mutually offset position in the CD direction.

  • Patent number: 6174447
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for fluid separation of whole blood as a mixture of liquids into individual, differently-colored blood constituents, which blood is packed in flexible containers, in particular bags, wherein the bags are connected to one another with an at least partially light-transparent connection, in particular a flexible tube, and wherein the blood constituents are forced to flow from one container through the light-transparent connection into another container, in particular for the separation of concentrated thrombocytes from buffy coat, as well as to a device for performing the method.
