Abstract: A method is disclosed for printing a blister film web in a packaging machine, in which molded blister shells are closed with blister film. In the method, a blister film web is supplied to a sealing apparatus via a first transport system, and molded blister shells are supplied to the sealing apparatus via a second transport system. The position of one of the molded blister shells is detected, and at least one detection signal is generated in one or more time intervals between the action time intervals of the sealing apparatus for closing the molded blister shells. A trigger signal for a printing device is generated in dependence on a detection, and optical information is applied to the blister film web by the printing device at a position along the blister film web which is arranged upstream of the sealing apparatus.

Abstract: A packaging machine seals goods in blister shell moldings with a blister film. The packaging machine contains a first transport system for a blister film web, a second transport system for blister shell moldings, and a sealing apparatus, the effect of which is to connect a blister shell molding to a portion of the blister film web. A printing apparatus is provided for applying optical information to the blister film web. A dancing roller system is provided for motional decoupling and disposed between a position at which the printing apparatus prints on the blister film web and the sealing apparatus along the blister film. The printing apparatus and/or the first transport system for the blister film web contains an apparatus for insulating against occurring vibrations of the rest of the packaging machine at the position at which the printing apparatus prints on the blister film web.

Abstract: A method for adjusting variable illumination parameters of a laser imagesetter including laser power, focus adjustment, scan rate, and/or feed rate during the illumination of a photosensitive material, in particular, during illumination tests, includes the steps of reducing the time taken and the workload for determining the correct imagesetter setting by calculating at least some of the illumination parameters, prior to the adjustment, based upon imagesetter-independent characteristic data including material thickness, material sensitivity, material-specific test patterns, and/or material-specific evaluation criteria of the photosensitive material to be illuminated, and, subsequently, adjusting the calculated illumination parameters automatically.
