  • Publication number: 20230132533
Abstract: A method and apparatus for electroless plating of a conductive composite created using fused filament fabrication. The method comprises fused filament fabricating a three-dimensional object with conductive filament and non-conductive filament. The object is then plated with electroless plating, with the metal in the conductive filament forming nucleation sites.

  • Publication number: 20210339488
Abstract: Photonic annealing is used to treat electrically-conductive thermoplastic. The thermoplastic forms, partially or wholly, a part which may be formed by additive manufacturing, like fused filament fabrication (FFF). The photonic annealing improves part conductivity and also alter, enhance, or give rise to other material properties while taking significantly less time than other conventional post-process methods. For instance, the baseline conductivity of the electrically-conductive thermoplastic material may be on the order of 103 S/m or lower. After the photonic annealing, its conductivity may be raised to the order of 104-105 S/m or more. This represents an improvement of 10-100× or even more of conductivity of the electrically-conductive thermoplastic compared to electrically-conductive thermoplastic prior to the photonic annealing.

  • Publication number: 20210303023
Abstract: The present invention relates generally to a unique mounting assembly, and more specifically a mounting rack or assembly for mounting an advertising screen over a vending machine of other static display. The mounting assembly comprises a support structure and a screen display mounting assembly, which are attached together to hold the advertising screen or monitor in a desired position and at a desired angle. The screen display mounting assembly is repositionable vertically, horizontally and angularly to improve the overall visibility of the advertising screen attached thereto.

  • Publication number: 20060054650
Abstract: This invention refers to a carrying bag for personal items when going through the security belts at airports and similar locations with the purpose of replacing the plastic trays that airports are using currently in the security belts that cause: mistrust between passengers, personnel's security job inefficient and delay of passengers waiting. In this carrying bag for personal items the passenger can put their personal items long before he comes to the security belt and can close/open and be emptied whenever it is convenient for the passenger. And it can eliminate the hassles of the plastic trays completely. This carrying bag for personal items can be used wherever security is required to check personal items that a passenger would regularly have in or their person.
