  • Publication number: 20200078709
Abstract: The fluid filter assembly includes a container and a filter media that is disposed in the container and partially divides it into an unfiltered space and a filtered space. A bypass valve assembly is disposed at one axial end of the filter media and includes an end cap and a valve housing, which has a through opening. The end cap is in engagement with an end face of the filter media. The bypass valve assembly further includes a valve plug which has a head portion and a tail portion. The valve plug is biased into a closed position by a compression spring and is moveable from the closed position to an open position to allow the fluid to flow directly from the unfiltered space to the filtered space. The valve housing and the end cap are made as a monolithic piece.

  • Patent number: 8544447
Abstract: One aspect is an electronic throttle control system including an electronic control unit configured to receive actuation signals indicative of a user action and to generate an actuation signal indicative of the user action. A throttle plate motor is configured to receive the actuation signal from the electronic control unit and to move a throttle plate in response thereto. A throttle position sensor is configured to sense the actual position of the throttle plate and to generate an actual position signal indicative of the throttle plate position. A throttle modifier is coupled between the throttle position sensor and the electronic control unit and configured to modify the actual position signal into a modified position signal, and to send the modified position signal to the electronic control unit.
