  • Publication number: 20210299575
Abstract: A method is provided, including the following operations: monitoring gameplay activity in a plurality of game sessions, wherein the monitoring includes, for each game session, analyzing the gameplay activity in said game session to predict future gameplay activity in said game session; identifying one or more characteristics of a plurality of spectators interacting with a virtual character, wherein each of the spectators interacting with the virtual character accesses, over a network, a channel that is attributed to the virtual character; through the channel, providing access to the spectators to spectate a selected game session that is one of the plurality of game sessions, selected based on the predicted future gameplay activity and based on the characteristics of the plurality of spectators.

  • Patent number: 11055918
Abstract: A method is provided, including the following operations: presenting on a display device a virtual scene including a virtual character, the display device disposed in a local environment; providing a view of the local environment through a head-mounted display, the view through the head-mounted display including the display device and the virtual scene being presented thereon; animating the virtual character to show the virtual character moving from the virtual scene presented on the display device to the local environment as viewed through the head-mounted display, wherein the animating includes transitioning, from rendering the virtual character as part of the virtual scene presented on the display device, to rendering the virtual character as an augmented element in the view of the local environment provided through the head-mounted display.

  • Patent number: 10835707
Abstract: Methods for provoking a physiological response in a subject comprising: receiving from sensors an orientation of an HMD of the subject and a parameter indicative of a physiological state of the subject, determining a video signal representing an avatar of the subject in a virtual reality scenario to be displayed on the head mounted display taking into account the orientation of the head mounted display, wherein the video signal includes an indication of a physiological state of the avatar, and sending the video signal to the head mounted display for visualization, optionally accompanied by a suitable audio signal. During a first period, the indication of the physiological state of the avatar substantially corresponds to the measured physiological state, and during a second period the indication of the physiological state of the avatar does not correspond to the measured physiological state. Related computer program and computing systems are also disclosed.
