  • Publication number: 20230347001
Abstract: Sanitization systems with safety features are discussed herein. For example, one or more cleaning devices arranged in an environment can be controlled to generate ozone and/or emit UVC light in the environment. One or more motion sensors associated with the environment may detect a motion. Upon determining that the motion is detected by the one or more motion sensors, the one or more cleaning devices can be controlled to stop generating ozone and emitting the UVC light in the environment.

  • Publication number: 20220326111
Abstract: An apparatus and method to be used for the automated selection, inspection, analysis, and disposition of tools that are installed on milling drums used by an asphalt milling machine to remove a layer of asphalt from a road surface that is being resurfaced is disclosed. Asphalt milling machines are also known as cold planer, pavement planer, pavement recycler, or roto-mill machines. The disclosed apparatus and method comprises a robot, one or more 3-dimensional scanners, one or more digital 2-dimensional cameras, and a controller. A work surface is provided for where the robot may select a tool to be inspected, place the tool on a rotating pedestal, inspect the tool while rotating the tool to capture all aspects of the tool, perform an analysis on the images captured, and depending on the analysis, classify the tool as reusable, degraded, or scrap.

  • Publication number: 20220313095
Abstract: A temperature assessment system aligns and analyzes optical sensor data and thermal sensor data to perform temperature assessments in a physical environment. The temperature assessment system may include facial detection and distance verification components, using a combination of machine learning and heuristics-based techniques to generate bounding boxes and perform individual assessments for multiple different people within the environment. Assessments may include temperature assessments, thermal uniformity assessments, and mask detection, and the results of the assessments may be used to transmit outputs to monitoring systems, provide alert notifications, and control various output devices based on the assessment status of the individual.

  • Patent number: 7694253
Abstract: One embodiment of the present invention provides a system that automatically generates an input sequence for a circuit design using mutant-based verification. During operation, the system receives a description of the circuit design. Next, the system determines a target value for a control signal in the description and a mutant value for the control signal. The system then determines if an input sequence exists for the circuit design that stimulates the control signal to the target value and causes the effects of the target value and the effects of the mutant value to reach an observation point in the circuit such that the effects of the target value and the effects of the mutant value differ at the observation point. If such an input sequence exists, the system then simulates operation of the circuit design using the input sequence. During simulation, the system generates two sets of signal outputs for the circuit design.
