  • Publication number: 20130199506
Abstract: A breather system functions, under high load conditions, as an open breather system, and functions as a closed breather system under low load conditions. The breather system includes a first flow path between the engine crankcase and an air intake for the engine, and a three-way valve mechanism located within the flow path and responsive to air intake depression pressure to close the pathway leading to the air intake and allow for a second flow path between the engine chamber and atmosphere to function as an open breather system. When the air intake depression pressure in the air intake is such that the valve leading to the air intake is open, the system operates as a closed breather system.

  • Publication number: 20130032140
Abstract: The invention provides a method of selecting a nebuliser device to be used to deliver a vaccine comprising selecting a nebuliser capable of producing a plurality of vaccine particles having the following particle droplet size distribution: (i) Dv10: 2.0+/?0.2 ?m (ii) Dv50: 5.0+/?0.5 ?m (iii) Dv90: 10.0+/?1.0 ?m (iv) a mean mass aerodynamic diameter (MMAD) of 4.5 to 8.0 ?m This allows the selection of, for example, commercially available nebulisers, previously used for drug delivery, for vaccine delivery. This considerably reduces the work required to identify suitable nebulisers. Nebulisers identified by the methods of the invention are also claimed.
