    Abstract: A pesticidally active isolate of the fungus Beauveria bassiana, which is monosporic and which may be used in agriculture as a pesticide for the effective control of pests. The biomass of the inventive isolate contains an unusually high proportion of spores. The invention also provides methods for the preparation of the isolate and methods of formulating and using same for the effective control of crop infesting pests.
