Abstract: The method comprising: performing a communication call between a first user (B) having a mobile device (H) with a communication application (D) installed therein which is connected to a VoIP communication service (F) through a communication network with a second user (A) via said communication service (F); and computing, based on information extracted from the communication call, by means of executing an algorithm running in a processor, a quality indicator descriptive of technical conditions of said communication network used for performing the communication call, wherein said information is extracted from the communication call by the communication application (D) or by the communication service (F) and includes an identifier of the communication network used, or location information of the mobile device (H) during the communication call, and quality parameters related to the communication call.

Abstract: A method for routing communication calls via VoIP and via PSTN to communication devices and computer program products thereof A user (B) having a communication device (H) running an application (D) receives a communication call and upon the user (B) having decided, for a given data network, and before the call being received, which one of a VoIP or PSTN interface be preferred for receiving the call, the method comprising: if the VoIP interface is preferred, routing the communication call by a Communication Call Control Service (F) to the mobile communication application (D) as a VoIP call, and delaying the routing of the communication call over the PSTN interface; or if the PSTN interface is preferred, routing the communication call via the PSTN interface as a PSTN call, and if the result of the PSTN call indicates that said communication device (H) is not registered in the PSTN network further routing the communication call via the VoIP interface.

Abstract: The method comprising a communication service (30): receiving a communication request in an application (20) that is adapted for an operating system (10) installed in a computing device (D) and is registered in the communication service (30); and checking a state of the application (20) with regard to the computing device (D), wherein if said state meaning that the application (20) being running in background or being offline, performing: a) triggering, by the application (20), an indication to the operating system (10) involving at least a visual indication, an audible indication or a vibration; b) upon the application (20) having waited a certain period of time, requesting said application (20) to delete by operating system (10) said triggered indication; and c) repeating steps a) and b) until the requested communication is established or the communication request finishes.
