  • Patent number: 9081463
Abstract: Systems and methods for run-time editing of a web page are provided. In certain embodiments, an engine is provided for enabling run-time editing of a web page. A web page's source code includes code that defines run-time edit capabilities that are permitted for editing content of the output presentation of the page. A run-time edit engine is provided that is operable to interpret the code included in the page's source code that defines the run-time edit capabilities permitted for the page's output presentation. In response to a user requesting to perform run-time editing of an output presentation of a page that is being presented on a browser, a run-time edit engine may enable editing via the browser of the content of the output presentation in accordance with the run-time editing capability defined in the page's source code.

  • Publication number: 20140304227
Abstract: A system comprises a first component creating an Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) data set storage object, a second component identifying data to be extracted from a first HTML document by the data set storage object, and a third component inserting the data set storage object into a second HTML document and structuring the second HTML document so that the extracted data is arranged when the second HTML document is rendered.

  • Patent number: 8429604
Abstract: Systems and methods for extracting behavioral code from a software code file are disclosed. A behavioral code extractor logic accesses an existing software code file that comprises structural code and behavioral code. The behavioral code extractor logic extracts, from the software code file, at least a portion of the behavioral code into a separate file. And, the behavioral code extractor logic generates binding code for referencing the extracted behavioral code to maintain run-time behavior of the software code file consistent with its run-time behavior before the extracting. In certain embodiments, the software code file is a source file for a web page, and the structural code comprises markup language code. The behavioral code may comprise scripting language code and/or event attributes code defined by markup language.

  • Patent number: 8429595
Abstract: A software application development tool supports a specified design-time data feed. A software application developer can interact with the development tool to specify a design-time data feed that is to be used during development of an application in place of a given run-time data feed that is not available for access by the application. For instance, a software application developer may code the application with reference(s) to the unavailable run-time data feed, and the developer may specify to the development tool a design-time data feed for such referenced run-time data feed. The development tool then manages correlation of the specified design-time feed to the run-time feed such that references to the run-time feed in the application under development instead trigger access to the specified design-time feed by the development tool. When deployed in a run-time environment, the software application's references to the run-time feed trigger access to such run-time feed.

  • Patent number: 8387006
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for authoring a web page to be run-time editable. A software code authoring tool is provided that enables authoring of web page source code that defines run-time edit capabilities that are permitted for editing content of the output presentation of the page. An improved content management solution is thus provided that enables a user-friendly way for a designer's customers (or other authorized users) to edit content of the output presentation of a page, while providing the designer the ability to control the amount of edit capability of the page that the customer is afforded. For instance, an authoring tool enables the designer to designate in the web page source code certain portions of the page that are to be run-time editable by an authorized user, wherein the designated portions may be edited by a user by interacting with a run-time output presentation of the page.

  • Patent number: 7769773
Abstract: A development environment is described that includes identifying relevant code or rules applicable to various elements of a hierarchical document and displaying the relevant code or rules to a user within a display interface of the development environment. The system recognizes document elements highlighted by a user and searches through a data structure of the code or rules applied to the hierarchical document for code or rules that expressly reference the element selected by the user. The system then searches the data structure of the code or rules applied to the parent elements of the selected element. The discovered code or rules are then displayed to the user in the development environment along with any properties that are associated with the code or rules. The development system determines which of the properties do not apply to the selected element and render a marker indicating the non-applicability of that property.

  • Patent number: 5178701
Abstract: A chemical sealant device is provided for repairing a flat tire of a wheel, which consists of a rim for supporting and fitting a tire thereabout. A first mechanism is on the interior of the rim for carrying a portion of the load of the wheel after the tire is punctured and becomes partially flat. A second mechanism is within the first carrying mechanism for releasing at predetermined intervals of rotation of the wheel, tire chemical sealant and compressed air into the tire so that eventually the tire will be repaired and tire pressure will be at least partially restored, whereby road damage to the tire will be prevented.
