  • Patent number: 12685682
Abstract: A thin profile retractor allows for a wheelchair securement system to be installed in-floor without the need for large holes to be cut into the OEM vehicle flooring. A plurality of thin profile retractors may be combined in a single housing to define a drop-in, in-floor system. The thickness of the in-floor system is approximately equal to or slightly thicker than the thickness of the type of aftermarket flooring that is typically placed on top of the OEM flooring or vehicle frame—for example, plywood. In that regard, a large hole corresponding to the outline of the in-floor system need only be cut in the aftermarket flooring, and only small holes need to be drilled to secure the in-floor system to the vehicle frame. The thin profile retractor includes specialized components and component configurations that permit the thin profile and/or allow the retractor to perform better during accident scenarios.

  • Publication number: 20260160080
Abstract: A base for use with scaffolding. Side support members of the base have scaffold receiving members provided at ends thereof. First cross member and second cross member extend between the side support members and are rotatably mounted to the side support members. First wheels are mounted to the first cross member and second wheels are mounted to the second cross member. A connecting shaft extends between and is pivotally mounted to the first cross member and the second cross member. As the first cross member and the first wheels are rotated in a first direction, the second cross member and the second wheels are rotated in a second direction from a first position to a second position, allowing the first wheels and the second wheels to be positioned in engagement with the ground or floor surface.

  • Publication number: 20120085045
Abstract: The present invention is in a first part is a door security system including an elongate J-frame to attach to a door-frame having a recessed groove defined within a first vertical piece. The J-frame snugly nestles within, and extends entirely along the groove. An elongate vertical member attaches to a door first vertical surface to entirely cover same and traverse at least the door thickness. The vertical member mates with the J-frame, to prevent unwanted force entry. In a second part, the invention includes an elongate U-frame to attach to a door having a recessed groove defined within a second vertical surface. The U-frame snugly nestles within and extends entirely along the recessed groove. An elongate T-frame attaches to, and extends axially entirely along, a second vertical door-frame piece. The T-frame mates with the U-frame to prevent the door from being removed from its frame.

  • Patent number: 4657040
Abstract: A filter assembly including a housing and a filter element which includes a bypass/reverse flow valve coaxially disposed within the housing with the filter element and includes a central opening therethrough coaxially aligned with the opening in the filter element through which filtered fluid passes. In the forward flow direction a bypass valve opens responsive to a predetermined pressure differential appearing across the filter element to permit unfiltered fluid to flow from the source to the load without passing through the filter element. In the reverse flow direction, from the load to the source, a check valve closes and applied full load pressure to the reverse flow valve causing it to open with a second differential pressure which is lower than the bypass differential pressure to thereby permit free flow of fluid from the load to the source without passing through the filter.
