  • Publication number: 20240312182
Abstract: A system may configure a sensing system implemented by an embedded device. The system may configure a sensing system to generate an image from a point cloud including data points in three dimensions. The data points may be associated with at least three values. The image may be generated by mapping first and second values of data points to first and second coordinates of pixels of the image and third values of data points to intensities of the pixels. The system may configure a sensing system to invoke a machine learning model to process the image. The machine learning model may be trained for image processing. In some implementations, the mapping may include quantizing the first and second values into ranges of the first and second coordinates and quantizing the third values into a range of the intensities.

  • Patent number: 12095755
Abstract: Techniques are described for using a single application to interact with multiple separate realms simultaneously while maintaining data security boundaries. For example, a web browser may be used to access and interact with the multiple separate secure realms while maintaining data security boundaries between the systems. Multiple concurrent sessions may be established for a user between the web browser and multiple realms. Separate sets of security credentials (e.g., credentials used for authentication and authorization purposes) may be used to establish the sessions and for operations performed in the realms via the sessions. The application can also execute logic (e.g., via machine-executable code or instructions) for automating operations performed in the realms, such as, automating the initiation of a certain operation in one realm based upon a response received from another realm, causing operations to be initiated in two different realms such that the operations overlap in the time; and the like.

  • Patent number: 12096165
Abstract: Digital information can be carried on the fiber leg of an access network using binary modulation. Binary modulated data received at an O/E node can then be modulated onto an analog waveform using quadrature amplitude modulation or some other technique for modulating an analog waveform and transmitted over, for example, the coaxial leg of the network. The O/E node may also receive an analog signal, over the coaxial leg, modulated to carry upstream data from subscriber devices. The O/E node may demodulate the upstream signal to recover the upstream data and forward that upstream data over the fiber leg using a binary modulated optical signal.

  • Publication number: 20240304286
Abstract: In a method of molecular scaffold hopping an interface of a scheduler computer sends instructions, prepared by the scheduler computer, to a job runner computer to perform a plurality of separate computational tasks. Each of the separate computational tasks includes calculating one or more chemical properties for a query molecule or molecules in a library of molecules. One or more of the plurality of separate computational tasks performed on the job runner computer are preemptible computing instances. Status indicators sent from the job runner computer are received by the interface for each of the plurality of separate computational tasks. The indicators are one of: incomplete, completed, or failed computing instances. The interface resends the instructions to the job runner computer that correspond to the separate computational tasks having the failed computing instance indicator to increase fault-tolerance against the separate computational tasks not attaining the completed computing instance indicator.
