  • Patent number: 11968814
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a waveguide gasket arrangement arranged for electrically sealing a waveguide interface between a first waveguide end and a second waveguide end, where the waveguide gasket arrangement comprises a first plurality of electrically conducting members connected to a first common structure along a first circumference. The waveguide gasket arrangement further comprises a second plurality of electrically conducting members connected to a second common structure along a second circumference.

  • Patent number: 7840111
Abstract: A rack (1) for optical distribution frame includes a plurality of horizontal supports for sockets with connections on a front face (1A) of the rack and means for management of the bundles of optical cables outside each socket. These means for management are made from a plurality of guiding systems (2A to 2E) of the cables, disposed on at least one side wall (1B) of the rack, distributed on the height of the rack and comprising at least one element of reception (C) of cables opened towards outside. The element of reception is in shape of U, the base of the U being fixed to the side wall (1B), and comprises an articulated closing lever (L).

  • Patent number: 7686117
Abstract: A safety arrangement incorporates a seat-belt (3) to protect an occupant (2) of a vehicle seat (1). A control unit (11) incorporates a calculator (18) to calculate the weight of the occupant (2) of the seat occupant, by comparing the force (6) applied to the seat-belt by the seat occupant with the acceleration (14) of the compartment. A controller (19) controls a restraining force applied to the seat occupant by the safety-belt and, possibly, additional force limiting or energy absorbing devices such as an air-bag (8).

  • Publication number: 20090085340
Abstract: A method and a system for controlling an adaptive belt force limiter (ABLL) for a vehicle safety belt in a vehicle provided with at least one closing velocity sensor (CVS) for detecting objects in front of the vehicle. The CVSs are capable of sensing the presence of an object in at least two different spatial areas and generating area specific signals. The signals are transmitted to a restraints control module (RCM) which uses the sensor signals in order to generate a control signal for the ABLL. The control signal generated depends on the spatial area from which the sensor signals originate. A CVS is capable of sensing the presence of an object in at least two different spatial areas and is able to distinguish the sensed signals from each other in order to control the ABLL.

  • Patent number: 6757734
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of achieving communication via a network with the aid of a wireless application protocol (WAP) between a first application (A1) in a first computer unit (A) and a second application in a second computer unit, wherein said first application (A1) is a Windows® application. The first computer unit (A) includes a WinSock TCP base provider (2) operating beneath WinSock SPI (3), and a TCP/UDP/IP stack (4) operating beneath said WinSock TCP base provider (2). The first application (A1) includes a function for communicating by means of TCP/IP via the TCP/UDP/IP stack (4) and the WinSock TCP base provider (2). The first computer unit (A) also includes a module (5) and a WAP stack (6). The module (5) includes the function of forming an interface between said WAP stack (6) and the first application (A1).

  • Patent number: 6722691
Abstract: An air-bag (8) is mounted in the roof of a motor vehicle to be deployed in front of an occupant (7) of the vehicle. The air-bag is constrained by tear straps (15) within the air-bag to inflate initially as a “curtain” in front of the occupant of the vehicle, that curtain only having a relatively narrow thickness (t). When the tear-straps break, the bag has a more rounded configuration. The bas is releasably retained within a recess (9) which initially houses the bag. When the bag is fully inflated, the bag becomes totally separated from the recess, to prevent the bag forcing the head of the occupant rearwardly as the torso of the occupant moves forwardly during an accident.
