    Abstract: To enable a rider to control in real time the type of ride he desires, a snowmobile is equipped with a suspension system that includes at least one fluid actuated device which can be adjusted in real time to control the relative distance between the body of the snowmobile onto which the rider sits and the frame, or the slide tracks about which the drive belt is mounted. By setting a constant predetermined desirable distance between the body and the slide tracks, or the frame, of the snowmobile, an optimal cushioned ride for the rider is obtained.     Abstract: An efficient and powerful engine is obtained by incorporating within an engine housing at least one cylinder which is rotatable along the inner circumferential surface of the housing. The cylinder is mounted to a crank case. A piston rod extends from the piston and is moveable longitudinally within the cylinder. The piston rod in turn is connected to a crankshaft. Thus, when the engine is powered, both the cylinder and the crankshaft can rotate, either in the same direction or in opposite directions. An exhaust opening is provided at a location substantially at the top portion of the cylinder. A corresponding exhaust port is provided in the housing, so that when the cylinder is rotated to the particular location along the housing, its exhaust opening comes into alignment with the exhaust port of the housing so that the exhaust gases resulting from the combustion in the cylinder are evacuated directly outside of the housing.

    Abstract: The housing of a shock absorber is constructed to include an inner chamber surrounded by an outer chamber. The inner chamber is divided by the piston to which the piston rod is connected into two portions. One of these portion has a number of orifices that fluidly connect that portion to the outer chamber. A piston slidably and movably fitted along the length of the outer chamber divides the outer chamber into two compartments, one of which is in fluid communication with the portion of the inner chamber to which it is connected by means of the orifices. An incompressible fluid is provided in the fluidly interconnected compartment and portion. A biasing force acts against the piston in the outer chamber by means of a pressurized gas provided in the other compartment of the outer chamber. With the shock absorber thus constructed, when the piston rod moves, the piston to which it is connected would force an exchange of fluid between the inner chamber and the outer chamber, which acts as a reservoir.

    Abstract: Machine for pressing hose couplings onto the ends of pressure hoses, radially from the circumference toward the center, comprising a revolving disk in which pressing tools can be detachably fastened, to be used in succession, and a pressing device opposite to which the tools are brought in turn to perform the pressing.
