  • Patent number: 7440514
Abstract: A method is provided for controlling a load signal of a signal transmitter in a data system for sending data in a low voltage network in order to keep an input signal voltage constant. The load signal is supplied through a coupling unit that provides signal coupling the network. The data transmission system also includes a signal amplifier, a signal filter and a source of signal amplifier operating voltage. The signal amplifier includes a signal clipper or a function for clipping the output signal of the signal amplifier and/or for clipping the input signal amplifier. The clipping is dependent on the output voltage of the signal to be sent to the network or on the output current from signal amplifier.

  • Publication number: 20060220691
Abstract: Method in low voltage net transmission system for keeping the signal level of transmission constant on the net voltage rail or on wall outlet. In the method the feedback signals are taken wined or wirelessly from one or some locations of the actual apparatus or supply cable to the measuring and handling unit (60) of transmitting signals and further to the process unit (70) of sample and holding circuit (S & H) or of corresponding means and control means (CONTROL), by which unit the control signal (URC) and/or ULC) is taken to steer the output signal or output voltage of blocks (10, 20, 40 and/or 50) in a depending way from load impedance (ZLOAD) and from the series impedance (ZW) of supply cable (LW) so that the amplitude (ULOAD) of transmission signal level (ULOAD) on voltage rail or some location of the supply cable or on wall outlet is constant or almost constant.

  • Publication number: 20060208567
Abstract: A transmitter for sending a data transmission signal to an f electric net, whereby the apparatus comprises signal-shaping and adjustment devices (3) and connecting devices (50) including necessary accessories for connection to the electric net, signal amplifiers (20) and a connecting cable between the transmitter and the connecting point of the electric net, as for instance 230 V, 50 Hz phase rail (L) and zero rail (N) or a wall outlet as connecting points. The apparatus is divided into two or several parts, at least a first part (3) and a second part (TX/REMU), whereby second part (TX/REMU) includes at least connecting a unit (50) for connection to the electric net and a connecting cable and for connecting said second part to the electric net, whereby the length (LW) of connecting cable is under 5 m.

  • Publication number: 20050117659
Abstract: Method to control the output signal of signal transmitter in a data system sending data in low voltage net in order to keep the utput signal voltage (UL) constant, when output signal (UL) is taken over coupling unit (50) to the network, whereby the data transmission includes a signal amplifier (20), a signal filter (40), a coupling unit (50) for signal coupling to the network and a source (10) of signal amplifier operating voltage (US). In connection with the signal amplifier (20) there is a signal clipper (30) or a function to clip output signal (UOUT) of signal amplifier (20) and/or to clip or distort the input signal approaching signal amplifier (20) and clipping or distortion being directly or indirectly dependent on the output voltage (UL) of the signal to be sent to the network or on the output current (IOUT) from signal amplifier (20).
