  • Publication number: 20210267463
Abstract: A system includes: an exterior enclosure defining an interior examination volume; a thermographic camera defining a field of view encompassing a target examination region within the interior examination volume; and a set of lighting elements configured to illuminate reference locations within the interior examination volume. The system also includes computational subsystem is configured to, for each target pose in a series of target poses: illuminate a reference location via the set of lighting elements, the reference location corresponding to the target pose; prompt the patient to locate within the target examination region and to orient relative to the reference location illuminated via the set of lighting elements; and capture a thermographic image of the patient in the target pose. The computational subsystem is further configured to generate a diagnostic assessment for the patient based on the thermographic image of the patient in each target pose.

  • Publication number: 20200129113
Abstract: A method for rendering a 3D model of a patient's breast includes: accessing a breast temperature profile representing a temperature distribution across a surface of a patient's breast; generating a 3D model of the patient's breast; overlaying the breast temperature profile onto the 3D model of the patient's breast to generate a 3D temperature profile for the patient's breast; evaluating a thermodynamic model on the 3D temperature profile to estimate the internal temperature distribution within the patient's breast; evaluating a diagnostic model on the internal temperature distribution to estimate a location and a size of a tumor within the patient's breast; and rendering a visual 3D model of the patient's breast representing the location and the size of the tumor within the patient's breast.

  • Publication number: 20200069191
Abstract: A system for evaluating breast cancer risk in a user includes: a temperature-sensing brassiere including: a first sensor mesh comprising: a first flexible mesh defining a mesh pattern and extending across a first breast region of the user; a first set of temperature-sensing assemblies arranged at intersections in the first flexible mesh; and for each temperature-sensing assembly in the first set of temperature-sensing assemblies, an electrical trace in the first mesh electrically coupling the temperature-sensing assembly to a controller; a brassiere structure configured to locate the first sensor mesh across the first breast region of the user; and the controller configured to: sample each temperature-sensing assembly in the first set of temperature-sensing assemblies during a data collection period to generate a series of temperature data; and store the series of temperature data.
