  • Publication number: 20100185128
Abstract: Device for massaging the fingers, useful for being used, mainly, by those people suffering from an articular degenerative disease, such as arthrosis, or inflammation of the joints, such as arthritis, to activate the blood circulation in a passive way favoring the nutrients arrival to the affected joints and removal of waste substances that cause pain and inflammation of the joints, the device (1) being defined by a central body (2), of generally cylindrical shape, provided with a threaded central axial hole (7), which by one of its bases embodies a grasp handle (8), while presenting on its opposite base, at least, two radial protrusions (9) to which respective arms (3) are, rotatably joined, which, on one of their ends, are restrained by a spring (4) and on their other free end mount respective rotating wheels (5).

  • Patent number: 7179236
Abstract: A system is provided for persons who must remain seated for extended periods of time, such as persons working in offices and the like. The system includes one or two support surfaces for the feet of the user, which are moved by a motor driven base. The support surfaces perform an alternating longitudinal movement, a lifting and lowering movement or a movement combining the two movements. The support surfaces are moved by, in one example, support rods hingedly connected to a central point of the support surfaces and at the other end to eccentric pivots allocated to respective toothed wheels which are mounted so at to rotate about their respective axis. An intermediate motor-driven pinion conveys rotational movement in the opposite direction to the wheels and are placed between the wheels. The support surfaces may be a bar that is transverse relative to the motor-driven base, which is preferably used in mass transit vehicles such as motor coaches, airplanes, etc.

  • Publication number: 20040053753
Abstract: The system is particularly suitable for persons who must remain in seated position over long periods, for instance, persons working in offices and the like. The system comprises one or two support surfaces (2) for the feet of the user, which are moved by a motor-driven base (1). Said support surfaces (2) may perform an alternating longitudinal movement, a lifting and lowering movement or a movement combining the latter two. The support surfaces (2) are moved, for example, by means of connecting rods (5) hingedly connected to said support surfaces (2) in the central point (6) and hingedly connected by their other end to eccentric pivots (9) allocated to respective toothed wheels (7) which are mounted with rotational freedom on their respective axis (8), an intermediate motor driven pinion (10) that conveys rotational movements in opposite direction to the wheels (7) being placed between said wheels.
