  • Publication number: 20240083327
Abstract: A cup holder assembly includes a body that defines a cup-receiving cavity and an aperture that extends through a side wall of the body, a first bracing feature and a second bracing feature, each of which is coupled to the body and positioned outside of the cup-receiving cavity, and a retention finger. The retention finger includes a first portion that extends into the cup-receiving cavity through the aperture, a first engagement feature coupled to the first portion and pivotably engaged with the first bracing feature, and a second engagement feature coupled to the first portion and engaged with the second bracing feature. The retention finger is operable to move via pivotal movement of the first engagement feature relative to the first bracing feature.

  • Patent number: 10789925
Abstract: A timing unit and method useable with a computer and user input includes a circuit and a timer. The timer establishes a reference signal having periodic occurrence and receives a trigger signal from the user input. The circuit generates information that represents the periodic occurrences of the reference signal and response timing data representing a relationship between the trigger signal and one of the occurrences. A communication channel is provided between the circuit and the computer.

  • Publication number: 20150133825
Abstract: A gait-enhancing system and method of enhancing gait includes generating a reference signal having substantially equal durations between occurrences and providing the reference signal to a user. Contact between the feet of the user with a surface is received and occurrence of a trigger signal is generated in response to the contact. An occurrence of the trigger signal is compared with an occurrence of a reference signal, and a guidance signal is produced as a function of the amount of time that the trigger signal led or lagged the reference signal. The guidance signal is provided to the user in order to promote symmetry in stride between one foot and the other foot of the user, enhancing the user's gait.

  • Patent number: 7953494
Abstract: Implantable medical leads, lead assemblies, and methods for implanting the leads into the human body, for example, for use within the epidural spaces of the spinal column to manage pain. A stylet lumen extends within the lead between a side-wall stylet entrance port and a lead distal region. In use, exemplary stylets may be inserted through the lead stylet port to stiffen only the distal portion of the lead, and the distal portion of the lead inserted through an introducer needle into the human body. The stiffened distal portion of the lead may be short and easily controllable.

  • Patent number: 6264521
Abstract: An interactive toy utilizing a figure having an outer surface and an inner cavity. A wall portion separates the inner chamber and outer surface and includes at least a pair of orifices. The video camera is located at one of the orifices through the wall portion of the figure and possesses an image capturing lens. The video signal is generated, which may represent a moving or still image. The video monitor is also located at the exterior surface of the figure in spaced relationship with the camera monitor revealed the video image to the person in the vicinity of the doll.
