  • Patent number: 11302073
Abstract: Method for texturing a 3D model of at least one scene (5), comprising: a) the meshing with surface elements (50; 55) of a point cloud (45) representing the scene, so as to generate the 3D model, each surface element representing an area of the scene, b) the unfolding of the 3D model for obtaining a 2D model formed of a plane mesh (60a; 60b) formed of polygons (65), each surface element corresponding to a single polygon, and vice versa, and c) for at least one, preferably all the surface elements, iv) the identification, from an image bank (40a; 40b), of the images representing the area of the scene and which have been acquired by a camera the image plane (72a-b) of which has a normal direction, in the corresponding acquisition position, forming an angle (?a-b) less than 10°, preferably less than 5°, better less than 3° with a direction normal (70) to the face of the surface element, v) the selection of an image (40a-b) from the identified images, and, vi) the association of a texture property with a corresp

  • Patent number: 11297229
Abstract: A method of acquiring images includes moving, into a plurality of acquisition locations, of an acquisition device including at least one camera, and acquisition at each acquisition location of at least one image of a scene by the camera. Each acquisition location being chosen in such a manner that scenes viewed by the camera at two consecutive acquisition locations and corresponding images overlap, at least partially, and areal density of pixels assigned to at least one element of the corresponding scene, which is represented in the corresponding image by a high-resolution portion, is greater than 50% or greater than 80% of a target areal density, the areal density of pixels being defined as a ratio of the area of the element projected in a plane perpendicular to an optical axis of the camera over a quantity of pixels of the high-resolution portion.

  • Publication number: 20210148706
Abstract: A method for acquiring at least one scene, the method including a) positioning at least three different targets at different target locations of the scene, b) taking digital images of the scene and the target by means of an imaging device comprising at least one camera, the image-taking locations being chosen such that at least two of the images intersect, and c) scanning the scene and the targets by means of an optical remote detection device, each target including: a characteristic pattern identifiable by digital analysis of the scan data, called “pattern to be scanned”, and a characteristic pattern identifiable by photogrammetry, called “photogrammetric pattern”.

  • Publication number: 20200077079
Abstract: Portable device (5) for acquiring images of an environment, in particular a tunnel (85), the device comprising an acquiring module (10) comprising a rod (12) and at least two acquiring stages (25a-c) placed at different heights on the rod, each acquiring stage comprising a plurality of cameras (20) configured to each acquire an image of the scene, the viewing axes (27) of the cameras of an acquiring stage being angularly distributed about the axis of the rod so that the acquired images overlap angularly.
