  • Patent number: 8424929
Abstract: A sliding panic bar is provided with a case which includes a configuration for electrical installation and rails for the frames of the self-locking latch, the release of which is produced by acting on a locking lever that centralizes different actuation situations. The activation by pressure of the movable half-bar causes the tilting of operating lever rocker arms which displace the shuttles, synchronous shaft and retaining springs. The system includes a mechanism for adjusting the width of the door, adjustment for use by physically handicapped people, as well as for vertical spagnolette systems, with both vertical and horizontal latch. The locks of the system are adjustable for absorbing possible expansions.

  • Publication number: 20110215599
Abstract: The invention relates to a sliding panic bar comprising a casing (3) which is designed to incorporate an electrical installation and rails for self-locking latch bodies (6, 7, 8) which are released by the actuation of a blocking lever (12) centralising different actuation situations. The activation of the bar by pressure is carried out by means of a set of shuttles (41, 42, 43), a synchronous axis (37) and retaining springs (49). The system comprises a mechanism for adapting to the width of the door, for facilitating the use of the system by physically handicapped people, and for adapting to vertical bolt systems with the latch in a vertical or horizontal position. The locks of the system are adjustable in order to be able to absorb possible dilation.

  • Publication number: 20100123322
Abstract: A modular folding/sliding latch system with self-locking and multi-functional operation, for any type of access-control lock, from simple door retainers to mechanical, electrical and/or panic locks. The inventive system offers substantial advantages, namely: modular design, simple assembly, reduced size and easy installation. The structure comprises a frame or casing (60), and the tilting latch (5?) and the sliding shoe (62) are guided between the lateral walls of said frame. The transverse shafts of the latch and shoe move in respective grooves (58, 59), i.e., a longitudinal groove (58) for the shoe (62), and a curved groove (59) used to retract the latch (5?) when the system is being closed, and to retract same when the angle of rotation of the upper shaft is varied when the system is being opened, prior to releasing the lock. The latch (5?) is crenellated and the strike (68) comprises a corresponding anti-lever recess (69).
